AST Leveling Amplifier MK3 is a solid state inspired leveling compressor designed around a simple, musical workflow.
Its custom DSP combines program dependent gain reduction, optical style memory and recovery behavior, discrete amplifier character, and transformer inspired input and output stages.
Gain and Peak Reduction provide straightforward control over level and compression, while COMP and LIMIT modes let you move from controlled leveling to more aggressive dynamics processing.
The result is a focused compressor designed for vocals, bass, guitars, drums, and other sources that benefit from fast, characterful leveling.
